Will Pricing through the Maryland Design Center be higher then Corporate Showrooms or through Designer Accounts?

As Agent and Represented Showrooms, The Maryland Design Center will always unsure that you are receiving the same pricing as if you ordered on your own account or through any Corporate Showroom or any other Interior Design Center.  Unlike many Retailers offering small commissions for ordering through their Retail Establishment, We offer full Design Discounting.  Please contact us for more details.


How will Product Shipping, Receiving and Pricing be Handled by the MDC?

New Receiving Policy: We will now receive (without charge) small items (chairs, small sofas, accessories, lighting, rugs….) we will not be able to inspect and will need pickup within 7 days.

Included in our ordering assistance, we will always look for the best shipping options and will extend our Designers the Bulk Shipping Discounts we receive with many of our Vendors.

For Textile orders, we will help with not only shipping fabrics, but getting COM forms to the right manufacturers.  We will also assist with Workroom Declaration Forms if shipping out of State to ensure that you are not being charged Sales Tax (*please note, some states will not except Declaration forms and may charge sales tax)

Most of our Furniture Vendors will only deliver to Receivers, but will work with you to find "White Glove" Delivery options when available.  We have a listing of Receivers by Region who will Receive, Inspect and Deliver your products.


How is Sales Tax handled?

As a Wholesale Showroom, we do not charge sales tax if you are a Registered Designer with a Sales & Tax use or EIN License on File.  If you are a qualified Interior Design Professional and do not yet have a Sales & Tax Use license, you may order through us, but sales tax will be charged
